Job summary

BBH seeks a Legal Analyst to support Senior Counsel or Practice Leader in the Corporate Secretarial/Regulatory Group. You will prepare board materials, registration statements, proxy statements and EDGAR filings for mutual fund clients, and assist with regulatory reviews.

Responsibilities include researching rule changes, drafting compliance policies, and maintaining board calendars. A BS/BA and 1–3 years paralegal experience are required; knowledge of federal securities laws is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 3 years of paralegal or related experience.
• Understanding of Mutual fund operations and/or '40 Act experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Counsel or Practice Leader in providing corporate secretarial and regulatory services to fund clients.
• Prepare board and committee meeting materials, registration statements, proxy statements and EDGAR filings for Counsel review.
• Draft compliance policies and procedures and coordinate regulatory calendars.
