Job summary

Thrivent, Minneapolis, invites motivated accounting or business students to join a 12-week summer internship in our financial reporting team. You will gain hands-on experience supporting mutual fund operations, regulatory compliance, and shareholder reporting, while learning to leverage Copilot for data analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with a GPA of 3.0+.
• Strong academic performance and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to leverage Copilot AI tools with large datasets.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing month-end fund shareholder reports, financial statements, notes and prospectus updates.
• Support SEC regulatory filings and compliance requirements.
• Compile and validate data for internal reporting and board materials.
