Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Fund Financial Reporting Analyst in California. This contract role provides responsibilities for preparing mutual fund financial statements and regulatory reporting, aligned with US GAAP.

You will collaborate with Fund Accounting, Legal, Tax, and external auditors, support annual audits, and review GL accounts and reconciliations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience.
• Experience with mutual funds, ETF, or investment management industry.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience working with external auditors and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mutual fund financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Prepare workpapers and schedules supporting financial statements and audits.
• Analyze fund statements and disclosures for accuracy.
• Assist with annual audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Review GAAP accounting transactions, GL accounts, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Legal, Tax, and external auditors.
