Job summary

Talentify seeks a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to support the preparation and review of financial statements, regulatory filings, fund expenses, and reporting for registered investment companies.

This role partners with fund administration and financial reporting teams to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of shareholder and regulatory documents. Prior mutual fund accounting or financial reporting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of mutual fund accounting, fund administration, or related financial services experience.
• 1-2 years of financial reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, fund accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial disclosure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare draft annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements for registered investment companies.
• Prepare and support regulatory filings (Form N-SAR, N-CSR, N-Q24F-2).
• Develop and maintain financial reporting calendars and timelines.
• Prepare fund expense proformas and related reporting schedules.
• Review fund expenses and accruals and coordinate adjustments with clients and reporting teams.
• Prepare and review fund expense invoices for approval.
• Assist with board book preparation and procedures documentation.
• Report and communicate fund performance information to management and publications.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and accounting requirements affecting investment companies.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impacts on financial reporting processes.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in reviewing work by junior team members.
• Develop knowledge of EDGAR filing, financial reporting applications, and fund accounting systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and reporting processes.
