The Medical Center of Aurora is seeking a Music Therapist to evaluate behavioral health clients and determine appropriate music therapy involvement in an acute setting.
You will determine intervention strategies using music, participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and collaborate with a diverse care team. Licensure in Colorado, BLS, CPI, and MT certification are required; a Master’s in Behavioral Health is preferred.
Hourly Wage Estimate: $25.44 - $38.15 per hour

Position Summary: This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora to optimize the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Responsible evaluation of behavioral health clients in an acute setting to determine appropriate level of inclusion in music therapy. Determines strategies for therapeutic interventions through the use of music. Participates in the interdisciplinary process of individualized treatment planning. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
