An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to join their interdisciplinary health care team. This part-time role involves providing music therapy services, documenting care, and educating patients and families. Regions Hospital is seeking a Music Therapist to work in a part time, benefit eligible position. This position will work every other Thursday and every Friday and Saturday.
As a Music Therapist, you will perform music therapy services in a professional and compassionate manner utilizing music therapy techniques appropriate for the individual patient. In addition to direct service delivery, the person in this position is also responsible for documentation of services provided, as well as communication with referral sources and other treating providers, as needed. Participates as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team. Provides education to patients and families, as needed, regarding treatment and follow-up; provides referrals for additional Integrative therapies when appropriate & necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
