The Music Therapist will conduct individual and group sessions aimed at achieving therapeutic goals such as anxiety reduction, pain management, developmental stimulation, alternative communication, positive coping, procedural support, and enhancing quality of life for patients and families. This role is part of the Child Life Department, working collaboratively to address the psychosocial and developmental needs of pediatric patients. The therapist will also deliver educational presentations to staff, volunteers, and the community as needed.
The salary range is competitive and based on market data, considering skills, education, experience, and organizational needs. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and others. Night, weekend, or on-call positions may include shift differentials or premium pay.
