Job summary

Benchmark Human Services seeks a Music Therapist to provide therapeutic intervention in facility, community, or home-based settings. You will develop music therapy strategies aligned with person-centered objectives and ensure safety and documentation standards are met.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Music/Music Therapy, MT-BC certification, and a valid driver’s license. Benchmark offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within a supportive, inclusive workplace.

• MT-BC Certification (maintained).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to caregivers and individuals team.
• Develop and implement music therapy strategies based on person-centered target objectives and goals.
• Maintain billable criteria.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Comply with all standards to assure health and safety of clients.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
• Implement age-appropriate engaging activities.
• Complete documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
• Collect data to document progress of prioritized objectives for each individual served.
• Participate in Individual Support Plan or Person Centered Plan for client served.
• Attend departmental meetings.

Full-Time benefits: $44-46/hr
