Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a qualified music therapy professional to provide education to caregivers and individuals across home, community, and program settings. The role focuses on person-centered therapy plans and measurable outcomes, with documentation and compliance responsibilities to ensure high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Therapy required.
• MT-BC Certification required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to caregivers and individuals team.
• Develop and implement music therapy strategies based on person centered target objectives and goals.
• Maintain billable criteria.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of clients we serve.
• Must report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
• Implement age appropriate engaging activities.
• Completes documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
• Collect data to document progress of prioritized objectives for each individual served.
• Participate in Individual Support Plan or Person Centered Plan for client served.
• Attend departmental meetings.

Education

MT-BC Certification
