As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music, all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

As a Music Teacher, you will impact:
Store Culture & Excellence:
  • Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
  • Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
  • Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long-term students by creating a great experience
  • Additional duties as assigned
Student & Parent Partnership:
  • Partner with students and families through communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing parental knowledge
  • Communicate student progress regularly
  • Share goals and progress with students and parents
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
  • Ability to teach proficiently in instruments such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
  • Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the instrument of expertise
