The first Music & Arts was located in Bethesda, MD, in 1952, founded by Benjamin O'Brien. Initially offering printed music, lessons, dance lessons, and art supplies, the focus shifted solely to music to better serve our customers. Since the 1990s, we have expanded nationwide through growth and acquisitions, becoming part of Guitar Center in 2005, now with over 225 retail stores and numerous educational and affiliate locations.
Pay Rate: $17.27/hr Non-Teaching Rate + $10-20/hr Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.
We offer gig leave for musicians to share their music and return to their jobs afterward. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with company match, mental health support, paid time off, employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement.
