Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is seeking an energetic Music Teacher to cover maternity leave for PreK-8th grade. All curriculum and materials are prepared and accessible via Google Drive, Slides, and Classroom.

The substitute will implement plans, manage routines, and maintain music-making across grades. The position requires comfort with singing and movement-based activities; faith-filled candidates are welcome but not required to be Catholic.

Job Summary

St. Margaret of Scotland Cetholic School is looking for an energetic and organized Music Teacher to provide full-time instruction to PreK-8th grade students during a maternity leave. Approximate Dates are: March - May 2027 (through the end of the school year).

All curriculum, lesson plans, and project materials will be fully prepared and accessible via Google Drive, Google Slides, and/or Google Classroom. The primary role of the long-term substitute is to execute prepared plans, maintain classroom management and routines, and continue various levels of music-making across all grades.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute prepared daily lesson plans via Google Suite.
• Maintain established classroom management, behavior expectations, and daily routines.
• Supervise student use of classroom instruments and materials and maintain an organized classroom environment.
• Lead songs, games, and movement activities to continue a spirit of music-making.

Job Requirements
