Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field, or in progress with junior standing.
• Some classroom experience with children or student teaching.
• Vocal or instrumental performance capabilities; guitar, piano or voice desired.
• Certification in Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze, or similar pedagogy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with school-wide concerts and logistics (sound, lighting, staging).
• Maintain classroom order and reinforce routines for student learning.
• Record progress using ETM benchmarks and rubrics.
• Create an engaging bulletin board and keep the room print-rich.
• Participate in ETM-LA Institute trainings and professional development.
• Complete timecards and assist with inventory and materials.
