Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons using our Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum and to foster growth in students while upholding our culture of integrity and inclusion.

The role emphasizes partnering with families and students, scheduling lessons, and maintaining enthusiastic engagement across instruments such as Drums, Guitar, and Keyboard. Prior teaching experience is preferred, with a focus on creating a positive, long-term learning journey.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in their teaching area.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off the needs of the community.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Communicate with students and/or parents on progress of each student.
• Share students' goals and progress frequently.
