Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to deliver lessons across instruments using our Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum. You will work to grow student headcount while fostering a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and musical passion.

The role emphasizes partnering with the Lessons Lead, maintaining strong communication with students and families, and delivering engaging lessons that help students progress and enjoy making music.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Communicate with students and/or parents on progress of each student.
• Share students or parents’ goals and progress frequently.
• Additional duties as assigned.
