Job Summary:

We are seeking a Music Teacher to join our team! As the Music Teacher, you will be teaching music, helping students prepare for auditions, guiding them through their musical journey, keeping them inspired to use music as an outlet and natural part of self-expression, as well as being a mentor. You will teach on-site, sell lesson books, and supplementary learning material through the store stock. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and teaching students, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for developing young talent.

Responsibilities:

• Choose activities, lessons, and prepare students for performances based on the skill set and available students.
• Choose students among your schedule who have the same skill set to join a group lesson in order to start learning how to create music as a team under guidance.
• Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with each student to develop their individual skills.

• Attend staff meetings, as needed.
• Maintain the lesson room you are teaching in.
