Job Responsibilities

1. Provide a personalized instructional program tailored to each student's abilities, needs, and learning characteristics.
2. Implement the prescribed curriculum effectively.
3. Develop and deliver a developmental program with clear behavioral objectives.
4. Create a child-centered learning environment based on sound mental health and educational psychology practices.
5. Employ creative teaching methods and utilize diverse materials within the curriculum framework.
6. Understand each child's characteristics, needs, and abilities through personal interaction and review of reports such as psycho-educational, hearing, and vision reports.
7. Notify the principal of any unsatisfactory attendance or abnormal attendance reports.
8. Update the principal on student address and contact information changes.
9. Provide an up-to-date schedule of classroom activities to the principal.
10. Maintain current lesson plans.
11. Report student progress to parents using designated methods.
12. Attend required in-service meetings and conferences.
13. Build strong relationships with students' parents or guardians.
14. Utilize teacher aides or helpers as per job descriptions.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.
