Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Culver City is seeking a seasoned Catalog Manager to organize and manage the MGM music library, establishing scalable systems and metadata standards. You will maintain metadata for compositions, recordings, and rights, and track ownership, terms, usage restrictions, and expirations across the catalog.

You will negotiate licensing terms, verify rights holders, and secure synchronization and master licenses.

Qualifications

4+ years of entertainment industry deal negotiation experience.
4+ years of experience in music catalog management, music rights administration, and/or music licensing.
Bachelor's degree in music business, or related field.
Familiarity with music metadata standards, catalog management systems, and rights tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Catalog Organization, Data & Asset Management: Organize and catalog the music library; establish comprehensive systems; maintain metadata for compositions, recordings, and rights.
Clearance & Licensing: negotiate licensing terms, verify rights holders, secure synchronization and master licenses.
Process Development & Systems: create scalable workflows for catalog tracking; implement metadata tools; establish documentation standards; drive catalog ops improvements.
