Day Violins LLC is seeking a Part-Time Lesson Coordinator to oversee the Day School of the Arts lesson program, ensuring an exceptional experience for students, families, and instructors. You will manage scheduling, enrollment, communications, events, and program promotion while supporting customer experience at Day Violins.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive planning, and strong customer service, with opportunities for growth into full-time responsibilities as the program expands.

Qualifications

• Experience in music education, administration, scheduling, marketing, or program coordination is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AIM is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage lesson schedules, enrollment, cancellations, make-up lessons, and teacher assignments.
• Recruit, contract, support, and communicate with instructors.
• Serve as the primary contact for students, parents, and teachers regarding lessons and program questions.
• Maintain accurate student, teacher, scheduling, and account records.
• Coordinate recitals, camps, group classes, professional development, and other educational events.
• Promote lessons, camps, events, and other Day Violins programs through social media, email, and community outreach.
• Build strong relationships with students and families to encourage retention and continued participation.
• Support teachers with resources, communication, and program development.
• Assist with front desk operations, point-of-sale transactions, rentals, and customer service as needed.
• Provide seasonal support during rental season and other high-volume periods.
• Identify opportunities to improve the lesson program, customer experience, and overall growth of The Day School of the Arts.
