Job summary

Music & Arts, part of the Guitar Center family, seeks a dedicated Music Teacher to create a engaging, supportive learning environment where students thrive. You will teach lessons, build relationships with students and parents, and coordinate with store teams to schedule lessons and boost retention.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Music Education or related field and 2 years of teaching experience; advanced degrees and multi-instrument expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years music teaching experience.
• Ability to teach multiple instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build relationships with students and parents through regular communication and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
• Share musical expertise to inspire growth in students.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Music Education or Music Performance

Master's Degree in Music (Preferred)
