Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum and to grow the student roster in our store in Maryland. You will teach across instruments and provide an engaging, inclusive learning experience for students of all ages.

You will collaborate with the Lessons Lead to schedule lessons, support customer service, and foster ongoing student relationships, ensuring progress and satisfaction for students and their families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
• Demonstrated teaching competency in their area.

Responsibilities

• Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount.
• Assist with customer service when needed to build long-term student relationships.
• Communicate progress with students and parents; adapt lessons to goals.
