Job summary

Guitar Center in the United States is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to provide lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum, guiding growth and enjoyment in music.

You will work with students and families, schedule and retain headcount with the Lessons Lead, demonstrate proficiency on your instrument, and contribute to an inclusive, customer-focused store culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Increase student count and ensure growth and enjoyment of playing music.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with customer service to build long-term students and great experiences.
• Communicate with students and parents on progress and goals.
