Job summary

Amazon Music DISCO M&G seeks a Data Scientist to develop models powering customer identity, acquisition, and retention. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Engineering to scale science offerings and drive business outcomes.

You will lead large-scale science solutions, prioritize across stakeholders, and run rigorous experiments to measure impact and guide decisions.

Qualifications

2+ years of data scientist experience.
3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) or scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical software.
3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling and data analysis.
1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.
Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead research and development of models powering identity, acquisition, and retention.
Partner with Marketing and Growth leadership on science-driven strategies.
Build predictive models (propensity, uplift, causal) for marketing initiatives and insights.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to evaluate campaigns via experiments.
Analyze results and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize outcomes.
Define metrics with senior data scientists and product managers and educate teams on analytics.
