Job summary

Strive Charter School is seeking energetic Enrichment Teaching Assistants to support after-school and weekend Enrichment Club programming, with a focus on music-based activities and opportunities in art, sports, STEM and more. You will create a safe, engaging environment, lead activities, supervise students, and communicate with families and staff.

Strong classroom management and reliability are essential. Hours vary, with weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' experience within a school setting working with children in grades PreK-5.
• Ability to lead enrichment activities in music and other areas.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organisation, and classroom-management skills.
• Background checks, clearances, and training required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities for students.
• Supervise students during clubs, meals, and transitions.
• Prepare classrooms, materials, and spaces.
• Provide age-appropriate support and clear instructions.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
