Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Music Composition or closely related field.
• Experience designing, delivering, and assessing curriculum using evidence-based, student-centered, equity-minded teaching practices.
• Experience teaching in higher education, including online instruction and use of learning management systems such as Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based music composition education.
• Collaborate with faculty and administrators to support program development.
• Apply expertise to ensure workforce-aligned curriculum.
• Teach in-person, hybrid, and online courses as needed.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain office hours and respond to student inquiries.
