Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Music Production Assistant to coordinate the activities of a multi-faceted department and support vocal recording logistics across production teams. You will organize music assets, maintain trackers, and review cue sheets while ensuring confidential handling of information.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with composers, talent relations, and post-production.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years prior experience in a music production or music assistant role
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple trackers and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with composers, talent relations, post-production, and production teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including note-taking and meeting follow-up
  • Familiarity with music licensing, recording session logistics, and SAG payment processes is a plus
  • Proficiency with shared trackers, spreadsheets, and file management systems (e.g., shared drives, OMT-style documents)
  • Must display ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill cross-departmental asset requests in coordination with internal stakeholders

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary Range: $47,500 - $60,000
