Job summary

Library Systems & Services, LLC. seeks a Museum Associate for the French Valley Discovery Hangar. This is a temporary, part-time role at ~25 hours per week, lasting 6–8 months from date of hire. You will help deliver exceptional visitor experiences in a dynamic, public-facing setting.

Responsibilities include assisting visitors, handling ticket sales with accuracy, supporting museum programs, and helping with event setup and coordination. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of museum, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Outgoing, customer service oriented and able to adapt to a fast-paced museum environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Frequent lifting of museum materials; push/pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to visitors, guests, and the public.
• Assist visitors with questions and information about the museum, programs, and events.
• Assist with ticket sales with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support museum programs and events through visitor engagement and outreach assistance.
• Assist with event and facility readiness, including setup and teardown.
• Provide feedback to support a positive visitor experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
