Job summary

The Looking Glass at IX Art Park is seeking enthusiastic Museum Team Members to create a welcoming and interactive guest experience. Roles include concessions, merchandise, and, for 21+ staff, bartending opportunities.

Most shifts are evenings and weekends, with a minimum weekly hour commitment and 100% in-person work at The Looking Glass. You will greet guests, explain exhibits, lead hands-on activities, and help keep the space clean and vibrant.

Museum Team staff may work in several capacities in the exhibition including as Concierge and/or Bartender.

The Looking Glass at IX Art Park is seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our Museum Team! If you love engaging with people in a fun, funky, and artistic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

As a Museum Team Member, you'll help create a welcoming and interactive experience for guests. Our current museum hours are:

Every Thursday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Every Friday: 8:00 PM – Midnight

Every Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Every Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

First Thursday of each month: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM

First Friday of each month: 6:00 PM – Midnight

Team members are responsible for guest interactions, concession and merchandise sales, and maintaining a vibrant and creative atmosphere.

Employees under 21 will handle concession and merchandise sales only, mainly focusing on greeting visitors and explaining the Exhibit in a Concierge role.

Employees 21 and older will be considered for bartending roles, which include serving alcohol in addition to concession and merchandise sales.

There are also additional opportunities for event bartending. Team members typically work a minimum of 8 hours per week, up to 20 hours, with the potential for more hours during special events.

Responsibilities:

What We Offer:

• Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
