Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for the museum at Ridgedale, MO. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance, and controlling access points to protect guests and staff.

Responsibilities include reporting observations, directing traffic, and responding to alarms and emergencies. Candidates should have at least two years in Loss Prevention and strong report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training in Loss Prevention.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Patrols premises to secure property and personnel.
• Monitors surveillance equipment and inspects access points.
• Reports irregularities and restrains trespassers as needed.
• Directs and manages traffic flow for drivers.
• Completes and files observations and incident reports; interviews witnesses.
• Maintains environment by controlling building and equipment systems.
• Responds to alarms, emergencies, and service requests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
