Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure and take direction from DoPS management representatives in emergency situations.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to the museum and monitors visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the museum's layout and operations.
• Enforces policies and procedures to protect property and exhibits.
• Responds to fire and security alarms and dispatches officers as needed.
• Provides courteous information to visitors and staff.
• Escorts visitors or contractors as needed for operations and safety.
• Performs relief duties as per DoPS policy and may work varying shifts.
