Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the museum and adjacent homes, including setup and takedown for events. The role involves routine cleaning of public spaces, galleries, offices, and restrooms, plus safety-focused facilities support.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, with comprehensive benefits and a requirement to work varied hours including events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move about the facility.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Clear communication with staff, vendors, and visitors.
• Proficient in operating office equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all visitor and public spaces, exhibit galleries, staff offices, meeting rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean windows, doors, mirrors, tables, walls, partitions, and fixtures.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors regularly.
• Service restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor and assist on projects as needed.
