Job summary

The Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, AR is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate for 15–20 hours per week. Weekday daytime shifts (8am–6pm) with starting pay at $12/hour. You will greet guests, explain experiences, sell tickets and memberships, and support various guest services tasks to ensure a fun, safe visit.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and will join a team dedicated to delivering memorable, high-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of age at the time of hire.
• High School diploma or GED OR working towards one.
• Good command of general computer applications and basic math skills.
• Ability to lean into new technology as assigned.
• Ability to be punctual.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for Amazeum guests, members, donors, and museum staff in-person and over the phone.
• Proactively and warmly welcome guests, respond to questions, and offer guidance.
• Exhibits critical thinking by anticipating guest and member issues and takes ownership to solve issues.
• Relays information about current and future Amazeum programs to guests.
• Operate ticketing system and sell daily and advance admission and memberships.
• Validate membership cards and pre-purchased tickets for admission.
• Process cash, check, and credit card transactions and balance cash drawer.
