Job summary

Discovery Cube in Orange County seeks a dedicated facilities team member to keep the building clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. The role supports exhibits upkeep and daily operations; both part-time and full-time positions are available in Santa Ana.

Responsibilities include cleaning all indoor/outdoor spaces, event setup, restrooms, trash, inventory, floor maintenance, and safety adherence. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, physical stamina, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk and push/pull equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic cleaning knowledge; training provided.
• Work independently or in a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn safety procedures and chemical use.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Flexible to work mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleanliness in all indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of special events.
• Daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, windows, mirrors, handrails.
• Monitor and clean restrooms; keep stocked with supplies.
• Empty trashcans indoors and outdoors regularly.
• Inventory management and replenishment of cleaning supplies.
• Floor maintenance and emergency clean-up as needed.
• Work with Exhibits team to maintain spaces.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
