The University Art Museum at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces seeks a dynamic Director to lead exhibitions and programming that advance the museum's mission and raise its regional and national profile.

The Director will plan 9–12 rotating exhibitions annually, oversee budgeting, fundraising, facilities, marketing, HR, and collection management, supervise staff and students, and develop grant proposals while serving as a liaison to campus and community.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years.
• Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience coordinating exhibitions and programming in a university art museum.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and realize exhibitions and programming to advance the museum's mission.
• Plan 9–12 rotating exhibitions per year with staff support.
• Oversee budgeting, fundraising, facilities, marketing, and HR functions.
• Supervise students and prepare grant proposals; liaise with campus and community.
