Job summary

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead our custodial team across the Museum’s operations in Tucson. You will supervise daily cleaning activities, assign tasks, and ensure facilities meet high cleanliness and safety standards.

You’ll balance hands-on oversight with administrative duties, including training, scheduling, inventory, reporting, and coordinating with other departments to support events and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 5+ years related experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Custodial Operations: oversee cleaning and facilities standards.
• Supervise and develop the team: schedule, train, and evaluate staff.
• Maintain safe and efficient operations: ensure OSHA compliance and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor quality and improve processes: identify improvements and document results.
