Job summary

The Mob Museum in Las Vegas seeks a Bartender Apprentice to support daily bar and kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, organize equipment, and ensure high presentation standards. You will help with bussing, restocking, and sanitation while delivering a world-class guest experience.

Requirements include knowledge of food safety, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, evening shifts, and a team-oriented, flexible approach in a dynamic museum environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to work closing shifts and evenings as needed.
• Must possess hearing, visual and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergencies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to traverse stairs and load and unload as required.
• Dexterity to operate bar tools and equipment.
• Able to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments.
• Have required food handler card for Southern Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and efficient bar operation.
• Contributes to high quality beverages and guest satisfaction.
• Assists in operating a clean, organized, well-stocked bar.
• Maintains bar sanitation and completes tasks promptly.
• Cleans, sanitizes, organizes, and restocks beverage equipment.
• Labels prepared food/beverage items per Health Department standards.
• Operates and maintains dishwashing and other bar equipment.
• Removes refuse to appropriate areas.
• Maintains courteous, professional, and friendly demeanor with staff and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
