Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes of Washington invite applications for Museum Assistant at the Hibulb Cultural Center. You will support the Group Tours Specialist with tours, rentals, special events and field trips, and assist Curators with maintaining the museum collections.

In addition, you will help in the gift shop with sales, inventory, displays and cashier duties. This is a full-time position requiring strong communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in an office environment.
• Six months of customer service.
• Six months of cash handling or retail experience.
• Six months of public speaking experience.
• WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Minimum Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Minimum Related Experience

• One (1) year of experience in an office environment
• Six (6) months of experience in customer service.
• Six (6) months of cash handling or retail experience.
• Six (6) months of public speaking experience.
