Job summary

Talan, an international group with over 6,000 employees, seeks a Murex Front Office Specialist – Rates Trading in New York City. The role combines deep Murex expertise with derivatives knowledge to support Rates Trading desks and deliver strategic initiatives that drive growth.

The position is hybrid (at least 4 days onsite/week) with visa sponsorship under TN and E-2 for eligible citizens. Competitive USD salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant discipline as listed in the Qualifications.
• 5–10 years of experience with Murex implementations and trading floor support.
• Strong derivatives knowledge and pricing/risk models understanding.
• Experience implementing computational finance systems.
• Solid software development lifecycle and testing in RAD environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for Murex and derivatives systems used by Rates Trading desks.
• Troubleshoot quantitative model issues using computational finance and Murex expertise.
• Explain P&L on complex derivatives positions using first- and second-order sensitivities.
• Analyze and implement new Murex functionality and enable new products for Front Office delivery.
• Translate complex Front Office requirements into Murex specifications.
• Identify and drive process improvements and contribute to Murex platform evolution.
