Job Description
This is an opportunistic role, as we are continuously seeking talented Murex consultants to join our team. Applications are welcome on an ongoing basis, with opportunities arising as business needs and client projects develop.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 production support for Front Office trading desks across Fixed Income, FX, EQD, Credit, and other cross-asset products.
- Act as the primary technology contact for traders and sales, providing real‑time troubleshooting and desk‑side support.
- Support Murex MX.3 modules including E‑Tradepad, LiveBook, Pricing, Simulation, Workflow, Datamart, and Murex services/orchestration.
- Troubleshoot trade booking, STP, enrichment, pricing, PnL, risk, market data, workflow, and interface issues.
- Analyze Murex logs and investigate application performance, user slowness, and processing issues.
- Support Murex EOD and batch/job processing.
Market Data & Pricing
- Troubleshoot Murex market data processes including MDCS, RTBS, MDRS, and MDIT.
- Investigate pricing and market data issues involving rates, FX, volatility, curves, repo, dividends, and other pricing inputs.
- Support pricing services and APIs, including REST/GraphQL integrations where applicable.
Incident & Production Management
- Own incidents end‑to‑end, including triage, impact assessment, troubleshooting, RCA, resolution, validation, and closure.
- Monitor application health, logs, batch jobs, schedulers, RTS feeds, interfaces, and production dashboards.
- Develop and enhance proactive monitoring and alerting to improve system stability.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3, infrastructure, middleware, and vendor teams.
Technical & Automation
- Troubleshoot across application, database, integration, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Use Unix/Linux, SQL, Shell scripting, and Python for investigation and automation.
- Work with Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, and enterprise schedulers such as Tidal, Autosys, or Control‑M.
- Support observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or ITRS.
Vendor, Change & Governance
- Manage vendor cases, provide technical evidence, and validate fixes in lower environments.
- Support production releases, emergency changes, maintenance windows, and post‑deployment validation.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, incident documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Support ServiceNow/JIRA processes, audit requests, access administration, and BCP/DR activities.

- Murex market data expertise, including MDCS, RTBS, MDRS, and MDIT.
- Exposure to Murex Datamart and reporting frameworks.
- Experience with Murex Pricing APIs, REST APIs, or GraphQL.
- Experience with Bloomberg, ION, TT, MarkitWire, and other trading/execution platforms.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, ITRS, or Telemetry.
- Experience with Tidal, Autosys, Control‑M, or similar enterprise schedulers.
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ITSM platforms.
- Experience managing vendor cases and production fixes.
- Exposure to audit, compliance, BCP/DR, and operational governance.
- Experience with automation and proactive production monitoring.
