Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Munitions Project Manager to join our team. You will lead DoD and commercial projects focused on environmental investigations and remediation of munitions under CERCLA or RCRA, guiding scope, schedule, and budget with the project team and subcontractors.

You will communicate with clients, regulators, the public, and management to keep projects on track. This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, environmental science, or a related field, at least five years of DoD

Qualifications

  • Bachelors from an accredited institution with a focus in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of DoD MMRP experience, with at least 2 years managing environmental or traditional projects at field level.
  • Relevant MMRP experience at a DoD facility or FUDS within the last three years.
  • Strong understanding of DoD policies and CERCLA guidance.
  • Strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leads federal (DoD) and commercial projects focused on environmental investigations and remediation of munitions under CERCLA or RCRA.
  • Set project requirements, schedule and budget with internal team members and subcontractors.
  • Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, the public, and Tetra Tech management clearly.
  • Drafts technical deliverables including QAPPs, field memorandums, and RI/FS/Remedial Action reports.
  • Provide strong technical leadership for the multi-disciplinary project team.
