Job summary

Garver’s Municipal Transportation Team in Rogers, AR is seeking a civil engineering student to join as Transportation Municipal Intern to gain real-world experience.

You will participate in plan preparation and design for roadway, intersection (including roundabouts), maintenance of traffic, and drainage, while visiting active construction sites to observe methods and management practices.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in transportation engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in plan preparation and design for transportation projects.
• Learn and utilize roadways, intersections (including roundabouts), MTP, and drainage design concepts.
• Visit active construction sites to observe construction methods and management practices.
