Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Community Development team in New Jersey. The role focuses on overseeing project delivery, coordinating technical teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects meet schedule and budget while complying with regulations.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; PE license preferred or obtainable.
• Experience managing municipal capital improvement projects (roads, drainage, water, sewer, parks, and public facilities).
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to municipal engineering and public works construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering/design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage community development projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations, schedules, budgets, and corporate performance goals.
• Coordinate and delegate project tasks across technical staff and project teams while maintaining overall accountability for successful execution.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and Assistant Project Managers, fostering professional growth and team development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration with construction management teams, and high-quality service delivery.
