OHM Advisors in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects, manage engineers and planners, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget with high quality.

You will build client relationships, define goals, develop proposals, oversee design, permits, and construction coordination, and help grow a new office in the region.

This role offers mentorship and a collaborative environment to shape sustainable communities in Northern Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of Site Civil Engineering or Municipal Engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Kentucky or Indiana, or ability to obtain in 120 days.
• Experience with PSMJ or PMI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of diverse projects.
• Collaborate with clients to define desired outcomes, project metrics, and success criteria.
• Develop proposals, including scope definition, work breakdown structures, and schedules with key milestones.
• Oversee the design process, mitigate risks, ensure QA, and manage workflow to deadlines.
• Facilitate timely permits and entitlements within OHM’s scope of work.
• Support bidding, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and attend progress meetings.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and closeout processes.
• Maintain strong client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and meeting expectations.
