OHM Advisors in Indiana is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects in our Chesterton office. You will drive technical aspects, mentor junior staff, and ensure regulatory compliance across water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway initiatives.

You will manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules, collaborate with clients and contractors, and help shape OHM's growth in the region with hands-on leadership and design optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Active Professional Engineer license in Indiana required.
• 5+ years of municipal engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage municipal engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
• Oversee design, development, and construction of municipal infrastructure (roads, utilities, stormwater).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Review designs, calculations, and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, and stakeholders; ensure alignment and satisfaction.
