Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects for municipal, private development, and institutional clients in Northern Indiana. You will manage engineers, planners, and technicians to deliver high-quality, on-time and on-budget results while fostering strong client relationships and pursuing office growth in Chesterton and Fort Wayne.

This role requires 8+ years in Site Civil/Municipal Engineering, a PE license (IN/KY or able to obtain in 120 days), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in Site Civil Engineering or Municipal Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Kentucky or Indiana, or ability to obtain licensure within 120 days.
• Training or equivalent experience in PSMJ or PMI methodologies.
• Extensive design experience (grading, water mains, sewers, roadways, stormwater).
• Strong communication skills and proven team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of diverse projects.
• Define outcomes, metrics, and success criteria with clients.
• Develop proposals, scope definitions, and schedules with milestones.
• Oversee design process, mitigate risks, ensure QA, manage workflow to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate permits and entitlements within OHM’s scope.
• Support bidding, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, participate in progress meetings.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and closeout processes.
• Maintain strong client satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.
