Garver is seeking a Municipal Project Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves providing reputable service to our clients through design and project management in municipal transportation and drainage projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and assisting in the design of construction documents for projects such as major thoroughfares, collectors, residential streets, and trails.
- Design components including typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage analysis, erosion control, pedestrian safety, traffic maintenance, and stormwater quality plans.
- Producing construction documents, including design, drafting, quantity calculations, specifications, cost estimates, and client coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- 2 to 5 years of related experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Training in design software.
Preferred Skills:
- PE license in Oklahoma or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months.
- Experience in municipal design, especially roadway geometrics and drainage.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
