Job summary

Century West Engineering is a civil engineering firm focused on public works design. The ideal candidate will be proficient with AutoCAD/Civil3D for transportation, water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, and work within a collaborative team to develop skills and contribute to team growth.

Qualified applicants hold a civil engineering degree and a PE license in OR/WA/ID, with knowledge of local design standards for transportation or utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho.
• Experience and knowledge of local design standards for transportation and/or utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with project managers and other design team members on engineering deliverables, calculations, and project closeout
• Providing actionable feedback on design work from other engineers and technicians
• Visiting project sites to observe field activities
• Managing small projects under the supervision of a project manager

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho
