Lauber Municipal Law, LLC in Lee's Summit, Missouri seeks an Associate Attorney to join a boutique firm dedicated to local government agencies. The candidate will assist in municipal law matters, draft documents, perform legal research, and provide advice on complex issues for numerous municipal clients. Some meetings occur in the evenings.
Ideal candidates will have MO licensure, familiarity with state and local government law, and some litigation experience. Kansas licensure is a plus.
Qualifications
- Requires Juris Doctorate and active Missouri license; Kansas license a plus.
- Strong knowledge of state/local government law and land use law.
- Experience in litigation and assisting in municipal matters preferred.
Responsabilités
- Assist Senior Attorneys in municipal law matters, drafting documents, and performing legal research.
- Provide legal advice on complex issues for municipal clients and attend government meetings (evenings).
- Maintain professional relationships and effective communication with clients and staff.
