French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Engineer for the Municipal Services Department in Wall Township, NJ. The role involves managing municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction, with opportunities for career growth in a fast-growing firm.

The candidate will lead technical work, coordinate cross-discipline designs, and participate in client and public meetings while advancing project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of municipal design standards and permitting processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Develop plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Interface with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and utility providers.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and contractor submittals during construction.
