Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a finance-related field.
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses must be active at hire.
• Strong pricing, hedging, and risk judgment using DV01, aging, concentration, and market information.
• Acts independently on routine buy/sell decisions within delegated authority; escalates complex judgments.
• Typically 5–7 years of transferable experience in fixed-income or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end execution and resolution of principal fixed-income transactions within authority and risk limits.
• Executes in senior trader inventory books, applying pricing judgment and escalating higher-risk matters.
• Manages inventory positioning, bid coverage, pricing analysis, and trade-review deliverables.
• Analyzes value drivers, market movements, and DV01 to improve turnover and profitability.
• Converts market developments into actionable trading and inventory recommendations.
• Maintains risk controls across market, liquidity, credit, and operational exposures.
